Born in the Colovian Highlands of the Caerellius estate, she was a symbol of opposing and shifting ideals. Born under the sign of the Mage, she had untapped magical potential. Despite this blessing, she grew to defy and refuse to adhere to their militaristic ideals, their meritocracy or long standing and historical involvement in the Legion. Instead, she preferred to engage in her magical studies with her uncle. It was a time of peace for her to learn of what innate skills she had that often times felt as natural as breathing. Her uncle Otius of her father's side of the family was an excellent teacher and taught her quite a bit. Things did not last long however as her mother only grew more frustrated with the efforts to save face. There was a nasty 'accident' which resulted in her parents thinking it best to ship her off to the Arcane University. This time instead of brute force, underhanded tactics or forcing her uncle away from her, they directly would allow this attempt to hone her innate skills for the benefit of their house. If she would not serve as a rank and file Legionnaire, she would at least be a court mage or a healer on the front lines. Or so they thought. It was a mistake. She was disrupting the ebb and flow of work and research with her experiments and schemes. For a couple of years things worked out very well, so much so that it had improved her relationship with her family. They were amicable. Happy. A ceremony was due to take place during the unforunate day the Anchors came falling down. By then the Worm Cult was nestled firmly in the city like a stubborn weed, killing and enthralling innocents and summoning all sorts of abominations to contest with the unprepared masses. In the conflict the University had tried to help as many escape as possible. Unfortunately, in the chaos she lost sight of her parents and her twin sister, forced to leave with her elder brother in hand as they leapt into the last portal to safety. She never heard from them again. One of few survivors of their family's unfortunate decimation in the City, they were left to mourn. But she would help her brother however she could throughout the years reestablish what remained of their family so long as she could study in peace. It worked for a time. Until it didn't. Under uncertain circumstances she would depart from the main halls despite her Uncle Otius' pleading and stay quietly within the annex of their Colovain Estate. It was as if she had never even helped them restore some of their familial name at all.In a long and painful process full of hardship, she eventually found her way into conjuring a portal to Oblivion. As she stepped through the portal without a second thought, she found herself somewhere unmentionable, some place she had never even heard of before. Fargrave. From this stroke of fortune, she would take the opportunity to abandon societal pressures and noble etiquette. She decided it was the perfect place to conduct herself. It worked to keep her busy. In between jobs for a mysterious benefactor, she found herself in her own element. Free to experiment. Free to roam the Planes of Oblivion. Free to hunt and drink and sing and every little thing her heart desired....until she grew to long for something more. Something familiar. And so she began skirting around jobs, playing hooky and dodging obligations. She had begun to miss home, and so she would return again. She only hoped her brother would still welcome her.
✦ Blessed by the Mage
Lucrezia was born under the sign of the Mage, she was blessed with a better pool of magicka and a talent for spellcasting. She utilized this well to learn a wide range of spells across various schools, often absorbing whatever she could. Sometimes literally.✦ The Mettle of Caerellius
As a possible Heir to the seat of House Caerellius, Lucrezia received the same training in combat, history and the arcana as her sister Aeryanna and elder brother Cassynder.
✦ The Folly of the Mage
Unfortunately, despite her skill, she was also someone who became haughty and sometimes downright insufferable when she sees those lesser than she. This affects every aspect of her social skills.✦ The Temptation of Oblivion
Spending a lot of time in Fargrave and around Daedric magic has corrupting effects, and as such, she thirsts for a hunger unending for knowledge and power. This goes to the willingness to do whatever it takes, even at the cost of her health or the lives of her allies.

Estranged, Deceased
"I close my eyes and I see you dying all over again. Both of you. We barely managed to escape, my brother and I. We are all that's left of you and your legacy. Do not hate me too much for not being a better daugher, because the Divines know I hated you both for not being better parents."

Complicated, Deceased
"You never saw me the way I did you. You had contempt for me, for not seeing things your way. Father's way. I could see the anger in your eyes...but now I will never see you again. You died alongside Mother and Father. Tell me, do you rest now where I cannot?"

"You supported me if it mean that my skills would benefit our might. Our effectiveness in war. In our positions within the nobility and the legion. You only saw my way when what this war has done to our family. And what the Planemeld has done to our lineage."

"You supported me regardless of whether or not I benefitted our House, or our standings. You helped me out of the kindness of your heart. For that, I owe you everything."

"All but exiled from this great House. A blend of prime Imperial persuasion and ideals, shielded with Nordic might and a pinch of ill-gotten gold. A whole den of hypocrites and sycophants. I will take pleasure in reshaping you to my image."

"My Brother has pledged our House unto yours, Lord-Emperor. As I've been reinstated as the Lady of the House until he is married, I will do my best to display what remains of our former military might and serve you well."
✦ The Arcane University | A Scholar's Pursuits
Having unsettled her more conservative family in her pursuits of magic, which was uncommon for her militant and stalwart lineage of Legionnaires and high ranking military officials. She chose something different for herself. Not good enough for the Battlespire but more than capable of attending the Arcane University. Her education was broad and thorough as she studied Ayleids, Daedrology and dabbled in a variety of spheres of magic. Those on the surface level would agree that her family, though stubborn in their ways, were blessed to have such a prodigous sorceress on their hands. Only those beneath the surface would speak differently.
✦ House Caerellius | Trouble's of the Hearth
Rumors from courtiers and maids alike speak of the fights held within the confines of House Caerellius. Lucrezia's elder brother Cassynder's consolations. The pleading for their Mother to allow her to study magic. Her father, Vincent too busy running the estates to take part in such trifles. Things only grew worse and festered. But one day there was a particularly bad bout that left ice covering the entire sitting room, destroying everything inside. It was then that Lucrezia was allowed to study at the Arcane University. Any from her past or those who might've learnt from the grapevine would know that her mother only begrudingly agreed because she would benefit the family and the empire. And possibly out of fear if her abilities were left unchecked.
✦ Planesbreaker | Wanderer of Realms
Though it is not common, it's not exactly a secret to any who know better of her that she is a traveler of realms. Coldharbour, the Shivering Isles, the Spiral Skein, the Field of Regrets, you name it, she has likely visited. If any who wish to contract her for work to access these realms, she would be that person to do so.
✦ Big Goals, and Bigger Ideas | Someone Too Ambitious
With each step forward, Lucrezia finds herself seeking to climb more heights. Finger of the Mountain. Binding spells to catch the deadliest of Daedra and Dremora. Jobs that yield unimaginable wealth. Rarer tomes and spells. Procuring rare goods, even people, for the highest bidder. Will she fly too close to the sun? Or will the light of Magnus blind her before she has the chance to?
✦ The Deal | She Who Coveted The Power Of God
Very little is known of what she requested of this Benefactor from the depths of Fargrave but all anyone does manage to find out is that occasionally they would disappear for a time. A plot. A scheme. Something to dismantle some of the very powers that be. An ability or skill beyond compare, except for that of the Princes and the Divines themselves. Mantling. But to what end?NOTICE: This hook needs to be discussed OOCly as it is something very few, if any, would discover.
✦ Cyrodiil | The Red Diamond's Rememberance
Lucrezia travels these lands out of her home, often times by cart, by portal (paying well with the Mages Guild, or by Mark and Recall) or by seas, going anywhere that the heart desires.✦ Broader Tamriel | The Adventurer's Heart
After finding herself lost with the fall of the Empire and the Imperial City, when what remains of home becomes too much to bear, she will travel by any means necessary to depart for a time and seclude herself in any tavern that would house her for more than a couple of nights.✦ Oblivion | The Celestial Palanquin & Beyond
Lucrezia can be found here at the absolute worst of her internal turmoil, hiding away from Nirn entirely. She's in Fargrave, performing work for her Benefactor and indulging in other tasks. She might be lounging by the fountain or striking deals with it's residents.
